Southcross’ South Texas assets are located on the Gulf Coast between Houston and Freer and have access to the Corpus Christi ship channel market. They consist of about 1,400 miles of pipeline with an estimated capacity of about 775 MMcf per day, one fractionator, two gas treating plants and 34 compressors. Our assets also include two gas processing plants, one immediately east of Corpus Christi near Gregory and another in Conroe north of Houston. Southcross’ pipelines in the region are connected to a number of producing natural gas fields, including the growing Eagle Ford Shale area; three large processing plants owned by Formosa, Hilcorp and Williams; and several intrastate and interstate pipelines.
