Plant Superintendent
Purpose:
Safely perform and direct all operating functions of the gas processing plant and its associated equipment, including maintenance. Maintain interaction with 3rd party customers, vendors, regulatory representatives, and the general public. Supervise and manage plant operators and E&I technicians, mechanics, administrative assistants, and specialists. Maintain compliance on safety, PSM and environmental regulations.
Scope and Magnitude:
Responsible for operations and maintenance in amine systems, dehydration, cryogenic plant, fractionators, gas compression, gas and NGL product metering, and associated utilities. Superintendent must have people and task prioritizing skills to allow for scheduling, supervising, directing, and managing several plant personnel and, at various times, contract personnel. Responsible for $5mm+ operating budget, daily reporting of volumes, production, environmental reporting, trouble shooting, and runtime of the facility.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accurate measurement of gas into and out of the facilities.
- Cost control of plant and equipment operations and maintenance.
- Proper operation and maintenance of facilities in accordance with company procedures/policies, PSM and all other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate, supervise, and inspect the construction of minor projects.
- Perform duties independently with minimal supervision, subject to being on call.
- Knowledge and/or experience with natural gas plant and pipeline operation, PSM guidelines and other regulations.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 10 years experience in gas processing plant operations and maintenance.
- Knowledge in operating and maintaining natural gas processing equipment facilities.
- Fluent English verbal skills.
- Valid driver’s license
- Moderate physical activity in outdoor environment.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and subject to random DOT drug screening.
