Contract Administrator
Purpose of Position:
Position is responsible for preparation, organization and maintenance of purchase, sales, gathering, processing, treating, NAESB contracts with special provisions and related agreements in accordance with company policy. Protects company’s rights and minimizes risk through timely, accurate and efficient contract administration. Specific focus will be on SolArc Database system for the administration of agreements.
Function:
- Preparation, review and completion to execution, briefing and filing of contractual documents and related activities
- Input and maintenance of contract information, supply planning and deal replication in SolArc Database with associated confirmations
- Liaison with internal and external customers regarding contractual terms
- Coordinate distribution of pricing and other contractual information to Accounting, Gas Control, Credit and other internal departments as needed
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree
- 2 to 5 years Oil and Gas Industry experience with extensive knowledge of contract administration function in either a exploration & production, marketing, pipeline, or processing environment
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Functional knowledge or experience with SolArc Database Management System
- Analytical skills, attention to detail, strong organization skills, ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced environment
