James (Jim) M. Richter brings extensive human resources experience to Southcross after serving in executive leadership positions with major corporations in the energy, financial services and technology business sectors. Prior to joining Southcross in 2011, Richter was vice president, human resources for Regency Energy Partners LP for approximately five years where he developed a variety of complex human resource strategies in support of Regency’s successful business growth. He also was senior people officer for USAA; and vice president, human resources for Argo Group International, PG&E’s National Energy Group and Aquila Energy.

Richter spent much of his early career with Honeywell, Inc. where he worked in multiple human resource roles in Honeywell’s commercial, space and defense operations.

Richter holds a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from the University of Arkansas.
